Asbestos PTFE Packing is made of whiteasbestos fiber cords impregnated with PTFE dispersion.(Addtitionof lubricant is operational.)
It is soft in texture and suitableas the sealing of pumps for liquidated chemicals. However, packingimpregnated with lubricants is reco-mended for use with reciprocatingpumps or for the sealing in places where linear velocity isup to 10m/s.
